The Financial Clinic, in partnership with the Milwaukee Financial Empowerment Center, offers free financial coaching helping families overcome financial crisis and build smart money habits. We specialize in helping individuals:

In addition to one-on-one coaching, we offer workshops on a variety of financial topics.

To Help Milwaukee Residents Achieve Brighter Financial Futures!

The Milwaukee Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) offers free, professional, one-on-one financial counseling as a public service. The Milwaukee FEC is a collaboration between the City of Milwaukee and Riverworks Development Corporation / Riverworks Financial Clinic. The FEC's financial counselors are professionally trained and certified by the National Association of Certified Credit Counselors.

Appointments can be made in-person, over the phone or virtually. The one-on-one professional financial counseling offered by the Milwaukee FEC is free to all City residents. There are no income or program requirements for Milwaukee residents to receive counseling.
